About Christine Haenen

Christine’s portraits give the viewer a glimpse into the unique personality of her subjects.

Christine typically translates your face into an array of colors and shapes – “We are all surrounded by colors, and colors indicate who we are: beautiful and unique.”

Christine creates your portrait during a live session. She invites you to her own studio or comes to your home, sets up her work area and gets busy. Various factors will dictate how long it takes to paint you. If you just want a quick sketch, it only takes a few hours. If you want a more detailed painting, Christine will schedule more sessions with you of 3-4 hours each, with breaks, of course.
